It also needs a desciption, but this will have to wait until I'm feeling more imaginative. The description goes here, whislt the title bit goes way up there - lol
Infraction systems

I really do worry that people get worried about this, so let me try to explain.
We have two levels: A red card and a yellow card.
If you receive a yellow card, firstly, its not a telling off PM and secondly its nothing personal. Its a merely a courtesy note to tell you we've changed the content of your post, usually because it does not meet one or more of the forum rules.
We usually do this using the "yellow card" infraction as this enables all the mods to be notified and hopefully prevents you getting multiple PM's when more than one mod picks up an issue at the same time. However, if it is quiet, or you posted in a section not covered by the infraction system (ie blogs) you may just get a PM from the moderator concerned, letting you know.
If you recieve a red card, then you are being told off. This is usually due to repeated offences or because you have blatantly flouted one of the forum rules.
The bottom line is, please do not get upset if you get a yellow card. You are not in the naughty book, we are just asking you to be more careful in future.

| | when i first got one i have to admit i got quite worried/upset. Thankfully one of the mods (not sure which one at the time) informed me it wasn't a punishment, just simply a friendly warning so that i am aware of it for future posts. ![]() |
